I live in a little white cottage overlooking the sea. I studied media at university which led to a very glitzy career as a hotel receptionist followed by an even more glamorous two years working in a bank. The moment that one of my colleagues received the much coveted carriage clock for fifteen years’ service was the moment when I knew I had to escape. I quit my job and returned to university to train to be a teacher. Three years later, I emerged wide eyed and terrified that I now had responsibility for the development of thirty young minds. I taught for four years and then escaped the classroom to teach history workshops, dressing up as a Viking one day and an Egyptian High Priestess the next. But the long journeys around the UK and many hours sat on the M25 gave me a lot of time to plan out my stories and I now write full time, doing what I love.
I have been writing for 8 years. I was shortlisted for the New Talent Award at the Festival of Romance. My first brush with being a published author was winning the Sunlouger short story competition. My short story was published in the Sunlounger anthology alongside some of my favourite romance authors. I won the Carina Valentine’s competition at the Festival of Romance with my novel The Guestbook at Willow Cottage. I was shortlisted for Best Romantic Read, Best eBook and Innovation in Romantic Fiction at the Festival of Romance. I’m the bestselling author of 26 books selling over a million books worldwide. My books have been translated into French, German, Italian, Dutch, Bulgarian, Estonian, Turkish and Russian.

I found you by accident at Easter. Looking for a romance to read on holiday. I was so thrilled to find your books funny. I’ve had tears running down my face with laughter and its been years since that’s happened. Thank you so much. After finishing 1&2 of white Cliff bay I’ve ordered all of your books for my kindle. Well, all I could find. Thank you so much. You make me laugh and swoon with the romance. Kerry. oh P.S is white cliff bay written about a certain favorite place, or completely made up?. x
I’m so pleased you enjoyed my books, thank you, that’s lovely to hear. White Cliff Bay is a completely made up place but I did visit Polperro in Cornwall while I was writing Summer at Rose Island and it had a lot of similarities to how I imagined White Cliff Bay would be
How do I subscribe to your news letters. Julie

I absolutely love all your books that I have read and want to read them all! I started in White Cliff Bay and fell in love with everything. Even though it’s nearly the end of February I’m just starting Christmas Under a Cranberry Sky. Is every book you write a series? I always want to know what happens to the characters after the book finishes xxx
Aww thank you, so pleased you’re enjoying them. Most of my books are part of a series. If you look at the very end or the very beginning of my books there is normally a list of all my books and the order
Hi Holly,
I stumbled upon your book (the holiday cottage by the sea) after searching for one to take away on holiday. I have just finished reading it in one day by the pool, I couldn’t put it down. A truly fantastic read. I fell in love with the characters and laughed out loud on several occasions (which looked strangely odd when sat around the hotel pool). I have never left a review or comment after reading a book before but felt it was such a fantastic read that I just had to get in touch. I am so excited to read more of your books x
Thank you so much so pleased you liked it
Hello, not used to writing these comments but just wanted to say how much I’ve loved reading the books on the town happiness, I fell on the first book by accident and the given presents to different residents put a little hope in me. I remember at the time hoping there would be a sequel, and just off chance and again by accident have found the sequel. Every girl needs a book with a little romance but also the intelligent writing to would have you wondering about all characters and what there story could be. I would love to be able to buy them in paperback and made see if you do readings to get it signed for my little cupboard library ( it’s a tiny shoe cupboard I’ve made a library ) where I keep books I love and read over over. Is there anywhere in the U.K. I could do this? Thank you. One single bookworm mum living vicariously through books 😊
Hi Joanne. I’m so pleased you enjoyed the Happiness books. I’m not planning on doing any signings right now, but i do sell signed paperbacks through my website. The Little Village of Happiness is sold out right now but there will be more in stock soon

I just wanted to thank you for two nights (I tried to make it last longer but it was just so good) with Issac and Bella. I really needed to get away for some time and your story just gave me that without leaving the house. Being knew to the world of Romance I have to say, your‘s was so far the best! Even though you give enough romance, it is also very funny! You made my days (2 nights actually 😉
Aww this is so lovely, so pleased you liked it
Hi Holly!
I discovered one of your books in a charity shop not long ago and I’ve been hooked by your books ever since! Just finished the White Cliff Bay Series and couldn’t put them down! I absolutely LOVED ‘Summer at Rose Island’ and Darcy and Ryan and the ending with the sharks! I was holding back tears!
I love your style of writing, I love your stories and they are such a joy to read and I love nothing more than after a long day at work or looking after the baby, to sit down with a cup of tea and escape into your stories.
A little quote I love which I why I love to read is ‘A book is a dream that you hold in your hand’.
I have purchased more of your series and I can’t wait to read them all!
THANK YOU!
This is so lovely, I’m so pleased you’re enjoying them
Hi Holly, I’ve been reading your books for about 4 years now and I love them all. Just finished The Blossom Tree Of Dreams and I think its your best, I would LOVE to work there! I have just signed up to your newsletter which will be a quicker way to know when your next book will be available because I always look forward to them.
Thank you so much for the places (you must know Cornwall), the characters and the laughter. Your talent might make me late, or shorten my sleep because I struggle to put them down, but its definitely worth it! Each one is such a joy to read & immerse myself in 😊
Aww this is so lovely, thank you
