I won!! (runs around screaming and shouting)

I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to have won the Belinda Jones short story competition.  I’ve been writing for four years now and although I’ve received many positive comments about my work, nothing has ever happened in terms of being published.  It’s always been a case of ‘so close yet still so far away.’ When I entered this competition I never imagined for one moment that the judges would like my little story, so thank you so much. Massive congratulations to Kiri Mills, Kate Guest and Pernille Hughes who are also having their brilliant stories published too.  I can’t wait to read your work, especially Kiri’s story which was chosen as Reader’s Choice.  This fantastic anthology will be out on July 1st.
